Hi, and thanks for stopping in. I invite you to take some time to explore my site, and Escape into a world of Art. My name is Cheryl Micaela McCardle. I am a visual artist, and I've been exploring creative processes since I was a very small child.

I see art as an evolutionary process, and continually seek new ways to express myself. My work includes painting, sculpting and decorative arts, but painting is what I love most. I enjoy watching the colors of the paint flow, change and become what they want to be. It's exciting to be part of that process.

My inspiration comes from the healing power of nature, music and the spirit inside that guides me to do what is most creative. When I listen to that voice I do things that surprise me. I become one with my art, and feel most alive when I create.

I admire the sensuous shapes and colors in the works of Georgia O'Keefe, the energy and rhythm in the art of Wassily Kandinsky, and the luscious textures used by Anselm Keifer. I have discovered methods to incorporate natural substances to produce textures that entice a viewer to fully explore my work.
